Multicast flooding wifi

Hi,
I managed to tunnel multicast IPTV traffic using an EoIP tunnel over SSTP between two routerboards, however turning on the remote TV will flood the wifi network on the home location.

Obviously I read about IGMP snooping not being supported but I thought this would not matter as multicast traffic would still be confined to the iptv-bridge connecting the physical port (from the IPTV router) and the EoIP tunnel. After all the tunnel would wrap the multicast traffic into standard SSL traffic.

How can this have such an impact on the Wifi ? The wlan interface is connected to a different bridge for standard Internet.
I am clearly missing something but can’t see why this fails.

Can anyone help out and suggest a solution?
Thanks

I have an similar issue when using a CRS and a setup box connecting to the switch of an HAPlite. I tried to block multicast traffic on the bridge in the switch of the to limit the traffic to ether1 (uplink) and out ether3 (port with the setupbox) but now i lost management #resetandtryagain

The input on ether1 is about 7Mbps and this is also copied to the wlan interfaces and is really killing the wifi on most device connected to the specific wifi network
