Multicast Forwarding....

Hey all,

Random question…

I am trying to setup a Verizon FIOS DVR… see diagram…

So… my issue is that I am getting some multicast packets in on ether1 that I need to forward through to the actiontec router…

What is the appropriate way to forward/re-route the multicast network?

Basically I am trying to have the multicast packets enter at Router #1… get passed to Router #2 so that the “ActionTec” router will see them… and then pass things back out again…

E.g. VZ <----> Main Router (Router #1) <----> Back-End Router (Router #2) <----> ActionTec…
