Multicast issue?

Hello,

Problem Description:
Attempting to add Google Home device to network. Google home app states setup was completed but that it was unable to find my device on the network. Some of the help links inside the app suggest checking into mutlicast settings on the router.

Environment Details:
RB1100AHx2 - v6.40.5
Netmetal 52 AC - v6.40.5 - configured via CAPsMAN

Additional notes:
From everything I’ve read, I really shouldn’t be seeing any issues with mutlicast because everything is in the same subnet. However since my Netmetal 52 AC was deployed using CAPsMAN, unsure if that means I need to do something special for multicast. The interesting thing is that I setup a google home mini on 10/31/17 with no issues, and there aren’t any known changes to the network configuration since that time. I also ruled out a faulty device by using a home grade router to setup/deploy for testing purposes. Any guidance or recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

So I did some digging and looks like setting multicast-helper to full could potentially help. I’ve tried to make the configuration change from the core router, but could never get the setting change to push down. I tried reprovisioning the CAP, even rebooting everything, but it never pushed the new setting down. Are there any kind of detailed logs I could look into when the CAP is receiving it’s configuration from the core router?

Edit: Got syslogging setup, doesn’t look like it gives me as much detail as I was hoping though.
