I’d like to know if is possible to have redundant multicast services for IPTV. We are working with
I have two VLAN (vlan 325, vlan 326), each VLAN are tie with different gateway and those gateway can reach the IPTV servers.
With the VLAN 325 I have the network 172.29.25.0/26 and they are giving to me the IP address 172.29.25.10 and gateway 172.29.25.1.
With the VLAN 326 I have the network 172.29.26.0/26 and they are giving to me the IP address 172.29.26.10 and gateway 172.29.26.1.
I have a local network 10.0.0.0/24
If I configure the service with one of those VLAN the IPTV work fine, the problem is that I don’t know how to set up an IGMP back up interface.
