In my situation I need wirelessly link two TV sets to the main router for the IPTV. There are 3 mikrotiks at each end and a separate high speed wifi access point. Aside of internet wifi, I created two eoip tunnels to the TV mikrotiks and multicast stream goes trough these tunnels. Everything works quite good for except of some lost packets at the wifi link and this results some glitches watching TV. The bandwidth trough these wifi eoip tunnels is about 70-100mbps which is more than enough for the TV stream (max 13mbps). But as I understand stream is UDP and therefore none of parts is controlling transmission reliability. I tried to create eoip inside SSTP tunnel in order to transmit trough TCP tunnel but got even worse results because of low throughput or meltdown.
Maybe someone has some thoughts about this situation and is willing to share his/her knowledge. Thanks.
