Hello,we are using ROS v3.20 on our main GW, where are applicated NAT and QoS. There are thousands of mangle rules and cca 800-900 queues. With option multi-cpu=no, we have 90-1000% of CPU load. Traffic about 80Mbit. When I set multi-cpu=yes, CPU load is about 20-28% with same traffic. BUT, router sometimes locks up. Only hard reboot solve it. MB PDSMi LN4+ i3000, CPU Intel Quad-Core Xeon X3220. Now is stable only one core support.
Do somebody know when will be multicore support stable?
for me only v.3.13 and 3.20 are stable with dual CPU…not dual core but I think is the same thing for RouterOS
You have right. I was checked the version on router and it was 3.19. I upgraded on 3.20 and I have almost 2days uptime without any problem. With older versions there was uptime max 8 hours and then the system crashed.
