Multigigabit-Ethernet Switch /(Poe+)

Hi,

I miss in your portfolio a switch with Multigigabit-Ethernet, but also with Poe+.

In my case I need the CSS610-8P-2S+IN, but with 2,5G Ethernet ports.

Are there any plans for this in the future?

Seems like nobody cares, not a single reply to this or my thread tegarding mulltigigabit poe switch :frowning:

I think that this way Mikrotik brings itself way behind competitors. Gigabit poe switch is a history.

I would pay good money for CRS312-4C+8XB-RM (multi-gig POE++ switch).

And Mikrotik would receive just huge amount of money releasing it. I just can’t understand what’s behind this? Is that so difficult? All other vendors have been offering multigig poe switch for years already, Netgear, Zyxel, Grandstream, TP-Link, Cisco, Ubiquity you name it.

Why I’m forced to move into another ecosystem, or mix switches or AP’s just because Mikrotik isn’t doing what it should have been doing long time ago?

I agree: my APs have 2,5G ports, some of my PCs are starting to have 2,5G too, while I´m starting to outgrow the 8 Ports + 5ports combo I have (CSS610-8G-2S+IN + HEXpoe). There must be many others in a similar situation.
