Hello, folks! I have recently bought Mikrotik to learn how to configure a router myself. But when I tried to play a Steam game (CS 1.6), it lags for a half of the second, sometimes for one second as well and lets me play again.. Is it because of QoS? Do I have to prioritize some packets? Can anyone tell me how, please?
Because when I was connected directly to the main router (some UPC Box..), then nothing like this happened.. when I connected together two routers and used ETHER2 on MikroTik as my local interface, things started getting really messy here
It can be anything…
High CPU on the 433, no QOS, the NAT between two routers etc…
So, what is the CPU load the time of the lag?
Can you use a PPoE client on the router instead of a DHCP client?
