Multiple hotspots, how many ?

Our network is segmented with different vlan-s and we want to implement authentication system using MT-s hotspot + external radius. Fo example we have MT running on x86 L4 and 20 different vlan segments.

As i understand, the only way follow the segment separation is to run hotspot on every vlan separately

If so, the question is how stable is running ~20 hotspot instancec in one machine?

How about limitations in L4 license and hotspot users when using external radius ?

It shouldn’t be any problem to run that many instances - it’s one servlet on one port. I haven’t observed any increase in resource usage running 13 Hotspots on one router versus running just one.

You’re still limited by the license in regards to how many simultaneous Hotspot users you can handle.
