I’ve got a quick pre-purchase question. Just want to make sure that what I’m designing will work before I take the plunge…
Obviously I’ll be assigning a subnet of IPs to a pool for pppoe clients to use.
When that subnet is full and I need to add an additional network block, I’m assuming that all I’d have to do is add the additional IP to the nic that will be the gateway address in this new subnet, and then add the new subnet to the existing pool.
Is that the way it works? Or do you have to add a new pool in the router and in radius for each subnet that you want to have behind the router?
