Multiple Networks in Home Environment

I just bought a CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD-IN for my house.

Essentially, the most devices I will ever have is a typical house. A couple of PC’s, smartphones, a printer, etc.
The unit may be overkill, but, I got tired of paying $150+ for Linksys/Netgear, etc. and not getting my money’s worth.
And I didn’t have 1K+ dollars for a Juniper unit.

I know a little about Juniper Switches and routers, with a decent level of knowledge about enterprise LAN’s, etc, but, I’m no guru.

So my questions are these:
-I would like to create separate networks for video, gaming, printing, etc. (roku, pc, printers, etc.)
-What is the best way to do that? (VLAN’s, or that Master/Slave port setup?) Any good how-to’s out there?
I’m mainly looking to be able to use OpenDNS for content filtering, and hopefully get a little performance boost (i.e. someone can watch a movie and play a game without the LAN choking- not that it would with a handful of users anyway I guess)
Of course I realize performance is largely based on internet throughput (which is comcast cable - up to 50 Mbps)
Right now I’m literally using the default setup out of the box and everything is on one network.

-What is the latest version of Router OS?
The web gui claims I have 6.6, while it says the latest update is 6.2? Huh?
-If I need to update the OS, whats the easiest most reliable way?
