Hi,
I’m quite new to RoS, I’m just wondering if I can pair up different bridge connection in the same device?
For instance, I’m getting a 10 port RouterBoard and splitting the 10 ports into 5 different networks. Is that possible?
Thanks

Yes, that will work no problem. Each port can be completly independant in ROS, or you can bridge them however you like.
Hi,
Thank you very much for the reply. Just wondering will the other networks get affected if one of the network is under attack?
Thanks
That depends. If you are behind a NAT, the router itself will be under attack, if you protect it well enough then it shouldnt be a problem. Of course, if its a massive DDoS then that will kill the WAN connection or the router itself.
If there is an attack from the inside, it again depends on what kind of and how you configure everything.
