How wise would it be to install a pair of XR9’s and a XR5 inside a RB433? Of course, the 5.8 would be for the backhaul and each XR9 would drive a sector. The worries are many…aligning the antennas to minimize desense/interaction…the XR9’s messing with each other inside the case…heat in the box…big ole single point of failure…but, sure does sound economic…anybody doing this?
you should be fine if you place 2 XR cards one in upper slot and one in lower slot of RB433, in the middle slot you can have some thin card like RB52, because if you put 3 XR cards they will contact each other. Of course, check if you fit into power envelope of RB433.
RB433 supports 16W output to extension cards. check how much need for your cards.
I’ve put 2 XR2’s and a cm9 in a 433ah or xr2+xr5+cm9. I think the cm9 is in the middle. It’s a much smaller card.
