Most probably you can reinstall your device using netinstall.
Since you’re mentioning mipsbe (which is platform name), I suggest you to install ROS 6.49.10 (v6 long-term). ROS v7 doesn’t bring much new on your platform, but it’s very likely that your device will be a bit slower.
