My first Hex, help to config

Hello to everyone !
Im super happy to get my 1st Mikrotik hEX RB750Gr3
I hope to get some help to configure it

I just need it to work as a any other consumer router, no vlans for the momment but with a good traffic prioritisation ( traffic shapping, qos )

Example:
To priorize web pages, voip, ect
And torrents or any other downloads to lower the priority.
If the bandwidth is free but torrent is working , the it gets the full bandwidth

Ive heard there are scripts to copy and paste , not sure what to do right

Here is some info

Internet speed 50mbits down 10mbits up
Router Firmware is 3.41
Winbox installed and connected
Ive set the default configuration and changed the admin password
Then in the quick set menu, ive added my PPPoE user and PPPoE password , nothing more, apply and ok

Take a look at this page: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Traffic_Priortization,_RouterOS_QoS_Implemetation

The first thing you should do is upgrade the firmware, that is extremely old.
Did it come to you already configured? if so, it might be best to do a netinstall process in case the router was ever hacked in the past.
Wipes the slate clean so you start fresh.

Also some advice I gave to another new MT user.

No worries, okay so it is normal at the start to have no clue on what each line on the config does or how the router works (packets moved around).
Thats fine, most of us were in that spot at one time or another but one has to pull up ones pants and make an effort to learn, cause no one likes to spoon feed forever.
(Yes, you are ultimately responsible for every line in the confi, or at least knowing somewhat what each line is doing… so take charge LOL)

Start reading through the wiki articles and such to get some ideas and questions formulated.
Most have all the time in the world for people asking questions trying to learn, but very little time for people asking others to do their work for them…

Two books I can recommend…

As for youtube, its a mixed bag, some are excellent some are crap and if you have some knowledge then one can discern between them. Ensure that they are reasonable relevant to the current RoS
I have used some videos from this series for example…

The most important thing is to be curious.
