my mac address is banned on CRS125-24G-1S-2HND-IN

Hi all,
I have found that my laptop mac address has been “banned” in some way in my router. I have been using it with CRS125-24G-1S-2HND-IN for 5 years, but it suddenly stopped working… While my laptop can connect to WiFi, it does not resolve any address, even ping to 192.168.1.1 didn’t work.
After some weeks of acceptance and using my 4G cell phone as WiFi hotspot, I have decided try and force another mac address. Now it works again!
So the only explanation that I am able to find is that my old mac address was “banned” on some way. But it was me? I don’t think so.
I have been checking on logs or Wireless / Access lists but I can’t find anything
Would you help me to find an explanation for this? Should I be worried because security on my Network?
Thank you very much

Hello all,

Anyone could help me please? Every time I reboot my laptop I need to force mac:address change. It is a big problem because.

Could you please help me?

Thanks

Have you checked about the blocked MAC? What’s the log say?

Export a configuration and search for your MAC address. If you can find it, you can delete it.

Thank you very much, I have found it on

add address=192.168.1.215 client-id=1:82:38:50:5F:12:20 comment="Laptop" \ mac-address=82:38:50:5F:12:20 server=dhcp_LAN
Also I have found on ARP list another mac address with the same IP 192.168.1.215.

I have removed all entries about this mac address. Now it has 192.168.1.206 and it works perfect after reboot! Many thanks to all who replied here. I have learned a lot here

Just in order to know more, Do you know why this happened to me? I don't remember to mess up with my Laptop ip...

Thank you all
