i’m configuring my Mikrotik Router to work with No-IP DDNS, i’m connecting my Router to the 4G Modem, so when the script run its taking my private IP that linked to the WAN Interface not the WAN Public IP that located on 4G Modem.
please advise.
Post your configs in regards to your nat rules. Use x.x.x.LastOctect as your WAN IP. All private IPs can be fully typed out. Also include your routing, interface configs for 4G modem and both WANs.
I bet you have a Mikrotik behind another router that’s doing NAT as well, so the public IP isn’t on the Mikrotik.
If you can put your modem in bridge mode, this won’t be a problem.
If not, then you’re going to need to use some kind of website that returns your public IP (like IPchicken) - IPQuail has a url that can return just your IP address, so perhaps that would help you.
