my queue tree cannot reach max speed

Hi all.
I have a line (tested) at 96Mbit download/upload.
I have a router where I configured mangle and queue tree, for different type of traffic.
In my queue tree, the sum of Limit-at is 90Mbit.
I work Always at full speed of 90Mbit.

I have a queue SPEED with 10Mbit of limit at, with priority=1 (before all other queues).

I’ve done two experiments:

  1. running a bw test inside this queue, I reach from 1 to 3Mbit of speed.
  2. I low the parent limit-at from 90 to 80, then disable my queue SPEED. The bw test now reach 10Mbit.

My router have nera 15% of cpu load and 1.5 Gbit free ram.

Does someone have an hint?

Thanks

Rodolfo

Which routerboard? Sounds like you have the port bug that forces a connection to 10M. Try putting another switch between the two connections to test.
