My router does not obtain an IP automatically

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased MIKROTIK CRS109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN and I am having the following situation:

  • I am connecting Routerboard using the same cable and port as I had for the previous router (which worked just fine), however Routerboard does not obtain an IP automatically;
  • I am reconnecting the old router - everything works just fine;
  • I am connecting Routerboard through the old router → routerboard gets an IP and broadcasts excellent.

What could be possible root causes?
