My Router Is Bricked

Dear Team and fellow members,

i kept my router for two weeks without use, now i bring it out for use while i noticed it only blink 4 & 5 light.

i tried to restore it went successfully but still not come up.

please help me out.

What router do you have? How did you try to restore it?

If you have done a total system reset, you should be able to access the router at 192.168.88.1 on any port but not ether1.

People here will help but only to the extent that you provide information. Ultimately, you have to fix this yourself - and the help you get is only as good as the information you provide.

1] What made you think your router was not working initially? How were you using it?

2] What makes you think it is not working now? How are you trying to use it.

If doing netinstall with ROS7, you also need wireless or the next complaint will be that wifi doesn't work.

Why not use latest ROS6 for that device ?

sir, it doesn’t connect to winbox and just continue flash 4&5 light….

You absolutely need to provide more details on what is happening if you hope to get helpful responses. You have not answered my questions or any others to provide enough detail for anyone to help you. If English is not your first language, then write in your own language and post both your original and the google translation.

You tell us nothing about the status of the router prior to the to two weeks of non-use.

Did you ever see the router working?

Did you just aquire it two weeks ago?

If so was it:

  1. New purchased from an authorized dealer?
  2. "new" purchased from unauthorized dealer?
  3. purchased used ebay, etc.?
  4. a dumpster dive item?

A google search for bricked RB951 has quite a few pointers.

I bought the router fearly used and it was working fine before kept it for two weeks like I said earlier,

Sir, as you can see I my provided above image, it only blink led light and go off immediately when I plug to power.
