NAT used to work but following a router upgrade it just exposes the router login screen which is now receiving multiple hack attempts. I admit I didn’t really know what I was doing when I put together the firewall and NAT rules in the first place!
I don’t understand most of what these forums discuss, most of the posting seem to expect a degree of network and MikroTIk experience I just don’t have.
We have a single domain that starts with docs. configured with our DNS provider to point to the public IP of our router, I think this is the bridge interface? On receiving traffic from a web browser pointing at https://docs. … the NAT used to forward this on to a server with the IP 192.168.0.40. Now all that happens is that the router login screen appears!
Please could someone very simply tell me what we need to configure to get the docs. NAT working again?
