Hi,
I have just ordered a new RB1100AHx2 to use in our NOC, and just have a simple question really. Is it possible to NAT multiple subnet’s but to seperate public IP’s ?
for example:
10.1.5.0 => public x.x.x.5
10.1.6.0 => public x.x.x.6
10.1.7.0 => public x.x.x.7
and so on…
where some subnets will come on there own ethernet cable, and some will come multipled on our routed network.
The public IP’s would obviously all be on one single ethernet connection.
i dont really want all 1500+ stations on my network to be sat behind one public ip.
Yes you can just add multiple srcnat rules for outbound connections.
Im new to mikrotik, but need to change a lot of routers on our network, so this seems to be the way forward. Im planning on doing the following:
RM1100AHx2 as the main gateway to the internet, i want to run ospf, and plan on using the rb750UP at each of my solar sites. I am using wireless bridge products between sites such as redline / motorola / etc.
Does anyone have the time to show me how i should configure the routers on or off forum from an “out of the box” situation, or does anyone here offer a remote consultancy service ?
Thanks again.
