Does mikrotik have any plans to introduce ndpi classifications into the existing firewall?

Currently I’m using ndpi-netfilter on a Linux box to add dscp markings then queue it on a CCR however having it integrated into ROS would be much easier.

UBNT has already got DPI in hardware, these things are important. (please don’t reply and tell me we already have l7…)

I think what you are requesting is already in there. DSCP is handled by a queue tree and mangle rules.

In addition to that, you can add layer7 matching to some mangle rules to get the “nDPI” DSCP tagging.
