Nearley dead RB433

RouterOS Beginner Basics

I have the following problem, The router board beeps once then no more beeps. I have tried to see it via winbox and neighbour viewer No luck, Then I tried telnet and got this below. Is there a way I can recover this board?

Hi Richard,

I would just try the following two scenarios -

  1. test with a new power supply;
  2. check the capacitors on the board - if there is brown stuff on top or swollen, these need to be replaced.

Electrolytics were OK tried a new power supply all OK. It fooled me by partley booting.
