im an internet service provider
the company gave me a free internet access i mean it gave me an username and password which i can access to the net through it
the question is
if i give that username and password to another computer but not my p.c.
the message on the another computer tell me that the username an password is incorrect ( 691 error )
someone tell me what happen to me
please need the answer
Without knowing more about your setup and theirs it is impossible to say. Best course of action would be to contact the people that gave you the user name and password and ask them. They could be doing MAC authentication as part of their login system, or maybe your username and password is only valid on the part of the network your computer is attached to, or any number of other possibilities.
