Need advice for distance 11KM link P2P/P2MP

Hi,
I recently setup small link between 4 locations (240M)
running OmniTIK U-5HnD and fore SXT
i believe i got the right hardware (Mikrotik) :slight_smile: and i'm so happy with it :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Now my plan to establish one more location Whether P2P link or PTMP
the distance 11 kilometers away from my OmniTIK

and the LOS is not bad...also i don't think any one use another radio so will be no noise on link

an anybody provide a bit of advice?

Point To Multipoint with Omnitik over 11 Kms isn’t possible :open_mouth: as Omnitik extends its legs till 3~4 Kms. :frowning:

However Point to Point With SXTs would work. Just give it some ample height to get more clear Fresnel Zone ( Min. 80% Clear ) you would get a Robust Link.
You can also put an Omnitik Connected to SXT at later end for extending your network there. :mrgreen:

i already bought two (SXT 5HPnD) and configured as P2P
one as Bridge and the other as Station Bridge , and by end of this week I’ll do the real test , but before that is my setup need to increase the TX POWER ??
or the default one is fine
and if need , how can do that with safety number

in Current Tx Power i can see all the Tx power , real tx power total tx power around 28dBm
it’s that mean my SXT are operating at full capacity?

It’s mean the tx-power for mcs-0 is 28 dBm
