I know i might “swear in church” now, but my tip - Dont use mikrotik when you dont have 100% control of all CPE devices connecting to the net. My experience is that about 97% is ok, but the last 3% have trobble connecting to mikrotik. (varius problems).
I use cheep cheep TP-link in setup where the CPE devices are “random”. I have great sucess. In your setup, i would have a 1100 or CCR as a gateway for your net. using cables, to connect to a bounch of TP-links in the area. (20 pieces so it would scale to about 30 clients each) 30 pieces would cost like 600$
my biggest problem has been encryption - Not standard in all CPE’s. and problems with CPE clients like apple devices having - Pooooooooooor wlan signals. Also random New equipment have some powersaving mode, make mikrotik sometimes go wired.
