Need an advice for a 5Ghz Link

My idea for a 20km link is :
Site 1:
Groove 52HPn - 500mW 2.4 with 28dBi Parabolic Aluminium Antenna Reflector 60 cm, Single Polarized Feeder 4,9-6,1 GHz
Level3 as a client

Site 2:
RB433AH, 1x Wistron Neweb DCMA-82 Industrial Temperature: 802.11a/b/g High Power mPCI Card (FCC Certified) with the same antenna as site 1
level4 as an AP

I neet that board, because there will be another 2.4Ghz omni antena on the other interface.

Have I picked the right low cost, but stable devices for a 20 km link. I need no more than 30Mb/30Mb (rx/tx)
My goal would be to catch -50 to -60 signal, and use nv2

I do know there are better devices, but the money for my goal are not enough, so I need a something cheap!!!

You will need free line of sight and quite high towers. Than you can start thinking about devices.

A good advice build never a point to point link on 2.4 GHz.
This frequency is not good for that.
Use a 5 GHz link this are more stable.
You must have a line of sight and a clear fresnell zone.

I had checked that A is visible from B… Im not so stupid :slight_smile:

I did checked the noise floor on 2.4 - clear - zeros on all channels, but you are right… It was just because I had the antennas in my basement
