Hello MikroTik community,
I’m currently facing an issue with my MikroTik RouterBoard where the bandwidth usage of active users in hotspot is not being saved in their statistics in real-time. The data or bandwidth they consume is only recorded when they log out or shut down their Wi-Fi connection. Additionally, there is a concern regarding the loss of usage data in case of power interruptions.
Here are the specifics of the problem:
- I have a number of users connected to my MikroTik RouterBoard, and their bandwidth usage needs to be accurately recorded in real-time.
- However, the statistics for these active users do not update until they log out or shut down their Wi-Fi connection.
- This delay in updating the bandwidth usage statistics poses challenges for monitoring and managing the network effectively.
Furthermore, an additional concern is that in the event of a power interruption, the usage data for active users is not saved. This means that any usage data accumulated by users before the power outage is lost.
I am seeking assistance from the community to address these issues. I would greatly appreciate any guidance, suggestions, or scripts that can help resolve these challenges. Specifically, I am looking for a solution that can update the bandwidth usage for active users in real-time and ensure that the data is saved even in the event of power interruptions.
If anyone has encountered similar issues or has expertise in these areas, particularly with the RB750Gr3 model and firmware version 6.49.10, I would be grateful for your insights and assistance.
Note: The problem is in Hotspot, not User Manager.
