I have the Metal 2SHPn mounted on top of my boat (6db omni antenna that was supplied), connected to a WD dual band wifi router. I have 6.3.1 OS, I only want to connect to wifi providers and access via the hotspot on the boat. Can someone explain to in layman terms how to best configure my system for maximum signal strength? Currently I am less than 1000 feet (unobstructed) from the marina wifi antenna, but only getting a weak signal. BTW, I am using MAC based devices on the boat. Is there a configuration manual? Please upgrade RouterOS to v6.33.1 and then BIOS to the latest version. Here are the links to the documentation how to do that:

What wireless client you use and see that low signal? How far from the AP your client is located?
