Hello everyone i need some help without messing up my home internet.
At the moment i am using Starlink for my main internet provider. And have a crs326-24g-2s+ working as a Router and switch for my whole system. i have 14 mixed Hap’s and Cap devices in the house and about 7-8 rooms that have direct ethernet cables coming into the rooms from the CRS device. all my devices are controlled by capsman on the CRS device.
What i would like to do is to add a Rb5009 device so i can use that as a main router and then use the crs as a normal switch.
What i am thinking is to plug the starlink in ether 1 on the RB5009 and then Ether 2 to Ether 1 on the CRS or use a MikroTik XS+DA0001 dac cable to the crs and then keep all the other cables plugged where they were in the crs.
İs this possible ? if so what will my best option be without messing my whole system and making it work properly ?
Since they are 2 totaly different type of devices i guess backup of crs and restoring it on the rb5009 wont work, so how can i do the setup ?
