I was forced to upgrade to ROS 7.15.3 due to abuse of the version I had installed I believe 6.49.5.
Router was being flooded with DOS attack I don’t know exactly, but when I realised it was happening, I upgraded the router to ROS7.15.3
This resolved the issue to a degree, there is still attempts however the system is not bogged down and traffic looks normal.
What I am now having issues with is User Manager and Radius
The new User Manager I am not familiar with, and can’t seem to find documentation for it, I have managed to import legacy and the router itself can authenticate 2 users directly connected to the router, however the remote routers with pppoe clients are unable to authenticate with radius timeout.
I don’t know how to add/remove users properly without the web interface, as I don’t even know how to edit and change the profiles etc.
Is there documentation for the new User Manager somewhere that I can’t find, if so can someone share the link
Also Radius from the remote routers don’t even show in logs when adding logging radius, which I too don’t understand. Why is radius from remote sites not able to reach the radius server.
Changes have not been made to remote sites, only on the “server” router.
I at least have clients connected using ppp secrets on remote routers in the interim.
I am hopeful someone can assist.

I have now also noticed that the users that did authenticate did not get queues as per there rate limits.
