need help for begginer

Hi,

I am new to Mikrotik, it is seeming strange for me to configure and play on it, so I need help from our Mikrotik team.

Object: Mikrotik will be used as our internet gateway with dhcp users and I want:

  • dhcp user with speed limited
  • traffic for every dhcp users
  • record traffic every day.

Existing config.

  • internet connection (pppoe)
  • local LAN (192.168.1.1/24)
  • dhcp pool1 (192.168.1.40-192.168.1.100)
  • Hardware RouterBoard 750

Please help to share easy way to config for the above object and best tutorial as well.

Add a simple queue for each ip adresse you use within your dhcp pool. :wink:

You should look into using dhcp with radius and user manager, then you get the possibility to keep track of the usage and to regulate the bandwidth.
But its kind of complicated so start with the simple queue and add graph to your mikrotik for graphing over time.
