I have a situation in which the program is a VMware virtual machine to which is to build a website. to view this site I connect to a VPN (virtual private network).
If you can please help me configure the router so that you can connect to the website without using a VPN. So as to make it publicly available?
Look forward to your response.
You mean you have a VMware system running inside your LAN, and you want to be able to connect to this system remotely, through the router?
You probably need a DST-NAT rule for redirection. Does this program use a specific port ? You will need to know the destination IP and port to make a DST-NAT rule.
most probably you forgot to enter destination port that has to be forwarded to some internal port, as result all traffic is forwarded to your virtual guest. If you can login into that (vmware guest) you coulc log from there into the router and correct the rule you just created. Just note you have to have both set - dst-port and to-port.
vajadzēja sekot norādijumiem. ja neielikāt portus, tāpēc arī nekas nestrādā. visas vērtības jūsu bildē ir nepareizajās vietās. lūdzu atveriet new terminal un ierakstiet to ko biju devis augstāk.
