I have download and upload speed at 20 Mbps.
I have a WiFi Access Point Device connect to Mikrotik RB-750 then to ISP Modem.
Basically I have a PC that I want to have full download and upload speed then a few family mobile device that connect to the access point that I want to limit their bandwidth.
I have made a PCQ with download and upload rate at 3M, Limit 50 KiB, Total Limit 2000 KiB.
and Default Queue Type pfifo with queue size 50 packets
I made a parent Simple Queue with Max Limit Download and Upload 20 Mbit/s then set the IP at 192.168.2.0/24
then I made a Child Simple Queue with 20 Mbit/s for my PC 192.168.2.10 with priority 1 and Queue Type Default for upload and download
and another Child Simple Queue with 10 Mbit/s for those other mobile device with priority 8 and Queue Type PCQ Download and Upload
I’m having a very unstable latency when im playing online games when those other device is streaming Youtube or browsing Instagram, etc.
I have tried connect the PC directly to ISP modem instead of the Access Point, but the ping and latency is still unstable.
Is there any solution for this ?
I though just by limiting their bandwidth is enough for me to have stable latency
