Hi there
I’m in the process of setting up an intel nuc with only one network card as a router, yes I know it sound strange for some people but I know it’s possible. I recently had an hardware failure with my regular router and I havent any other device with 2 network cards. As some of you may know, intel has great difficulties to provide entry level cpu to the market so I can’t even replace the hardware I was planning (an x86 pc, zotac CI329). I came across this video explaining what I’m trying to achieve : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z59_MWWPL-Q
I’ll use opnsense as the router software, this part is easy. The tricky one is setting up the switch with vlan as I don’t have any expertise with my CRS125-24G-1S (router os 6.44)
I really need your help on this because I can’t replicate the from the video on my CRS, the guy use a cisco which have differents settings and options. routeros is definively to complicated for me, I can’t figure out how to do it.
Please help
