Need help! Strange peaks in CPU graph. CPU high load.

Hi guys. Need your help. Last time has seen the strange peaks in the graph of CPU load. They appear randomly and do not depend on the number of users and traffic. Tried different versions of RouterOS - the same result. Hardware is good. You can see in the screenshots, as it happens. What could it be? Logically, it is pppoe and nat loads mikrotik, depending on the number of users and traffic. But it happens randomly…

Configuration:
Intel ® Xeon ® E5504, 4Gb RAM, Gigabit lan adapters
external uplink - load up to 140mbit
users - up to 200
type of authorization - pppoe
uses nat

First would be to downgrade to v5.0 or test and then upgrade to v5.2 as there are some large issues in v5.1 that could be affecting this (I know you said you’ve tried different versions, but starting on a good one always helps :smiley:)

Are you able to see the same sort of spikes when watching CPU via winbox and if so, where does the profile window indicate they’re coming from?
