I have a problem with version 4.3 (maybe)
i was upgrading a routerb 112 from 2.9.43 to 3.30 then from 3.30 to 4.3. rebooted and runned “sys rou up” and rebooted again. i have two wireless cards in it, and when it came up after the rebooting one of the cards dissapered from the interface. it detects the card in system; resources.
is there something i can do here from my office?
did all the upgrading from my office. the mikrotik is out in the field.
remove the card and put it back in. Or try another card. You can also try ti switch the cards by putting card1 in slot 2 and card2 in slot 1. You might have a faulty card. I also hard a rb133 adn card was damaged by static
Not a faulty card… I belive the problem is RouterOS 4.3 and hardware/IRQ issues, Downgrading to 4.2 or 4.1 made the Wireless card visible in interfaces again. Even tried to dowgrade firmware to version 2.14(adm5120-2.14.fwf). Problem
seems to be related to the firmware upgrades.
Notised the same bug/error on several RB600A with more than 1 radiocard. Radiocards wasn’t showing in interfaces after upgrade/boot. Suddenly they showed when removing cards/setting them bnack changing positions on the miniPCI slots…
But maybe the Mikrotik programmers know if it is possible to reinitiate all hardware remotely through terminal window?
It would have been a nice function when this problem occures.
what wireless card it is?
make sure you have wireless package installed.
Provide us the support output file when the card is recognized in older version and the support output file when the card isn’t recognized in v4.4
