I’m not sure I really wanna do this, but I want to look at it anyways…
I’m setting up a microcell with a RB112 with two radios. One is a backhaul, the other is running 2 virtual APs. The default route is over the backhaul interface.
I then have 2 EOIP tunnels going back to the controller, one for PPP traffic, the other for hotspot traffic.
One AP is bridged with the PPP tunnel, a second with the hotspot tunnel.
Until now, I’ve been bridging the LAN port in with the PPP tunnel, and having the customer run a PPPoE client on their own.
What I would like to try, however, is to set up a third Virtual AP (with WEP) for the customer, bridge it with the LAN, and route everything from this bridge through a PPPoE client.
Is it possible to serve as a PPPoE client/router for the host customer without screwing up the default route that my PPP and Hotspot tunnels depend on? If so, how?
Many thanks,
-Troy
