need help with e-mail notifications

Objective:
I would like The Dude to e-mail me when a certain network link exceeds a certain level of saturation (ie: greater than say 8 mbs).

Environment:
I am using HP managed switches using layer 3 routing between sites. There are 4 sites. Site A is my primary site. Site B, Site C, and Site D all share a 10 mbs link to Site A. Attached is a network map using The Dude.

Can anyone help me figure out how to get The Dude to e-mail me when certain links exceed certain thresholds? Or, can it only e-mail the up/down status of a node?

Gsandul did some excellent work on port based probes, search his posts for some ideas. If you get most of a probe built but are still having trouble let us know. I am sure this can be done.
