Hello everyone!
Please help me with this scenario:
Equipment: 1 x DSL modem (with Internet connection) + 2 x RB433AH
Purpose: We have a central office and 4 branches each with a wireless uplink to central office (branches need to have a connection to central office to use DHCP server, have their RoDCs replicated, replica WSUS synched, etc);
as a backup for wireless connections, we need to set up our two RB433AH as L2TP server and client and use the DSL modem on the client (branch) side to connect to central office (already has an Internet connection with static valid IP address).
What made this hard?
- I need to set up these RBs independent of where they are used, so I need to set DHCP client on one of the interfaces, so after the tunnel is up the interface and the network behind it can get their addresses from DHCP server on central site.
- There’s no static valid IP address for the Internet connection on branch side
Please help me set up these two RBs to have a transparent connection between branches and central site.
