I am trying the wiki instructions right now, not having any luck.
433 plugged into port 4 on a 750. Just in case I was doing it wrong, I copied it straight from the wiki, test vlan id 32, 10.10.10.1/24 and 10.10.10.2/24, vlan test attached to port 4 on the 750 and ether1 on the 433 and can’t ping across.
ROS v4.9.
I’ve used vlans on HP Procurve switches. I’ll admit I don’t use vlans that often, however, I don’t see where it is that difficult.
I’ve got an AP (AP 10.0.22.0/24, ptp 10.1.22.0/24, office 192.168.0.0/24) that I am adding more ptp shots from. I have one ethernet cable run down the tower that feeds my office. I need to keep the office separate from the ptp and ap subnet. I was going to set vlan1 to ether1 on the rb600 and through a rb750 to a rb433.
I have configured vlan on ether1 interface of the 433 and port 4 on the 750, ip addresses of 10.10.10.1/24 and 10.10.10.2/24 (just for testing, will use 10.1.22.x/24). Vlan shows Running, however I can’t ping across it. Am I missing something?
