Need Help

Hello,

The RB4011 is booting on loop no matter what I do, after firmware update " right one, no energy cut in process " .
What can I do, I tried reset button, 4 sec / 20 sec / 3 min…nothing… all ports are dead except wan, when I try to connect wan with a pc to try Netinstall recover mikrotik os it keeps restarting on loop.

Tried connecting netinstall, winbox, direct cable pc>router / pc>switch>router.
Windows / Linux
Tried also the 30-30-30 reset mode, nothing worked…

Any idea?

Have you done netinstall previously with another device or is the first time? I would suggest to retry netinstall with each step carefully

https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Netinstall

Deactivate any windows firewall and directly attach an ethernet cable from ethernet 1 to your pc

instead of 30-30-30 rule follow:

https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Reset#Using_reset_button

Starting the RouterBOARD in Netinstall mode
Or keep holding the button for 5 more seconds until LED turns off, then release it to make the RouterBOARD look for Netinstall servers. You can also simply keep the button pressed until the device shows up in the Netinstall program on Windows.

it looks to me more like the device is generating the bootp request but not getting any response
