Hi all,
I have 2 Mikrotiks type 2011UiAS, software version 6.17 in 2 buildings which are close to each other. The current situation is that both Mikrotiks are connected to each own internet connection, which is working fine. Here is a picture of the current situation:
I want to change this because I have a new internet connection in Building 1, and a darkfiber between building 1 and 2. Here is a picture of the new situation:
I have a few questions about this. The dark-fiber is working, but when I connect both Mikrotiks over dark-fiber without changing any configuration settings, building 1 is using (routing over) the WAN of building 2.
- What configuration do I have to make in the Mikrotik in building 1 and/or the Mikrotik in Building 2 to use (route over) the WAN internet connection of Building 1.
- I want to be able to SSH and Web connect to both Mikrotik’s from both buildings. For example, when I am in building 2, I want to be able to reach the Mikrotik in building 1 by connecting my browser or SSH terminal to 192.168.1.1, and when I am in building 1, I want to be able to reach the Mikrotik in building 2 by connecting my browser or SSH terminal to 192.168.1.10 . What configuration do I have to make for this?
I prefer Web configuration as answers, but if you don’t know, I’ll try SSH terminal parameters.
