I have a client that is needing ports 5198 and 5199 UDP so he can pass traffic. I have tried to add these under /ip service but it wont let me. Is there another way to give these ports to the end user or how do i set this up?
Thanks
they should be enabled by default if you haven’t disabled them under firewall section.

Dont think that I have disabled them. I ran a check on it and the ports are blocked. But I dont see a way to enable or re-enable them.
how about the user coputer’s firewall ? windows firewall is enabled by default. also i’m not really sure what you like to achieve, you may need to configure destination nat …
Thanks. I am trying to let traffic pass from these ports to the client. I will continue to look for a way to get this thru. It has stumped me at present.
Without knowing much more it sounds like you are doing NAT/masquerading and want to create some destination NAT rules. Read up in the manual about this…
Montana,
A bit off topic: I am a user in Montana, too, and I know there are other users, so I’m thinking about starting a “MikroTik Montana” user group. I am in Helena, where are you?
