Need Urgent Help

Ok, I have 7 access points that need to be able to distribute internet to each other from 1 access point that has it coming in it’s ethernet port. There is no way to connect all of these with the ethernet port and it has to be done wirelessly.

What is the most efficient, and easiest way to set these up so they’ll be able to distribute a wireless signal to all areas?

They are RB411a boards with the high power r52 board in them.
Right now they are all on the same network in ap-bridge
They are Using Static WDS with MAC addresses used to connect them all.

The problem is, they keep dropping the signal and it causes little to no connection for out customers.

Anyone have any helpful Ideas?

What you want to do? Is 411 access point or client? If you want to put up access points, use one point where internet connection. Put dedicated link to where access points will be. Put three boards with 120 deg sectors on them for access. More power does not always mean better signal and is maybe why you drop signal. If you have nice site with this setup and standard R52 can do about 10km radius with standard equipment.

I’m using a ubiquiti PS-5 as the backhaul, so no sector antennas needed.

Basically I have access points placed around a complex and they need to be able to communicate with each other to get the internet distributed through them, and they need to allow for people with laptops and desktops to connect to them.

I think I may have it answered in a different thread, but we’ll see how solid the signal is with that setup.

The big problem I am having is the access points continually drop connection or provide very little to no throughput.
