Needed to factory default hap ac router. Factory values does not appear

Hi all:

Probably the General forum is not the most appropiate one for these type of questions but I’m not sure where to go.

I had a problem with HAP AC router and when troubleshooting, by mistake I disabled all ports. I followed process to set device to factory defaults and now the device does not give IP addresses (just APIPAs 169.254.. addresses) and WIFI is disabled so I cannot connect to it.

Any ideas are most welcome

You know the “safe mode” button? (also safe mode is present on terminal)

The 169.254 is not provided from the router.

Use netinstall.
Yoiu can find thousand of topic about how to use netinstall, also mikrotik help and wiki.
Use google or forum search.

Not sure about the safe mode. I supposed the 169 wasn’t the router. What I meant was that the router supposedly should give IP and instead i’m getting an APIPA. I’ll try with netinstall.

with safe mode you can experiment and debug, but if you are cutted out because you disable all interfaces,
the router itself roll back the latest xx changes, and probably you can take again the control of the router.
