Neewbie - wsAP ac lite as WLAN to LAN Bridge

Hello Forum Users,
I’m completely new to MikroTik, and maybe I overestimated my abbilities, but I was not able to configure my wsAP ac lite as a WLAN to LAN bridge.
Because the QuickSet did not work for me (device was not accessible anymore and needed to be reset ) I tried it manual.
I followed several tutorials (written and video) but the connection with the WLAN is not fully established. I even tried to use a spare Accesspoint with a clean configuration to connect to.
Is there some secret step, that I’m missing during the setup?
My steps were:

  1. make sure there is a bridge that has the WLAN and the Eteernet Ports as Ports.
  2. Create a new securit profile for the wireless connection
  3. Setup the wireless conenction (scan for network, connect to, select correct sec. profile)
    Then the wsAP tries to connect to the WLAN but has no success…
