Hi,
I didn’t check firmly and used Netinstall 5.25 on RB2011L and RB751U with RoS 6.2. Both routers hung on 70% netinstalling. I guess I killed both units right? ![]()

Noone had these problems?
always use newest netinstall. try download it from our webpage, and reinstall again with 6.2+6.2 versions this time
I tried with reset hole and reset button, to no effect. I tried netinstalling with version 6.2, routers doesn’t login to netinstall. I know I should use newest netinstall, like I said I forgot because I was using netinstall 5.x for a long time and I automatically started it. Why did the netinstall let me use 5.25 with RoS 6.2?
edit:
I just used netinstall 6.2 with RoS 6.2 on RB711U and it worked. What can I do to wake up the RB2011L and RB751U?
No reply = user fault, GTFO?
Hi Bysard,
Use a serial connection and view the console to see what’s happening during boot process.
Maybe that will give some hints.

RB2011L and RB751U don’t have serial port
bum… I’m to much used to working with all my routers and switches with serial interface ![]()
Maybe someone has a better idea to help you solve this problem.
Or solder a RJ45 serial port to the RB2011L PCB?
Did yo not succeed in forcing the units into NetInstall boot via the rest hole?
Sadly no. I made contact on reset hole for 1 minute to no effect. ether1 blinks for 1 second, then is dead again. This happened on two different routers, bought at different times. MT support wasnt able to reproduce my problem so I guess there is no problem.
