Netinstall and CCR1009

DOES the MikroTik Manuel [as shown in the link below] for Netinstall apply to all MikroTik Router Models?

Why I ask? I have one Client with a CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+PC whose ether1 port suddenly does not function … shows R but Link Downs shows 2
The Manuel for Netinstall states that ether1 must be used for Netinstall to work properly. What happens in this situation?

Ether1 does not apply to all routers for Netinstall,

For the CCR1009, I think it is ether7, check on the router, it will be marked “boot”

OK I found solution … in Manuel it states that BOOT port can be used for Netinstall and in the case of CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+PC that is ether7

I guess I need to get my reading glasses fixed :slight_smile:
